Christmas Wreath Workshop
Join us for a festive wreath-making workshop that even Santa wouldn't want to miss! We’ll provide all the materials you need to create your own beautiful holiday wreath. Warm up with complimentary hot cocoa and cookies while you craft your perfect holiday décor.

Pressed Flowers & Pumpkins Workshop
Join us for the perfect autumn greenhouse combo — pumpkins and flowers! We’ll have a selection of beautiful pressed flowers and greenery available for you to decoupage onto pumpkins to create your own unique autumn decor. A coffee bar will be available for your caffeine fix!

4th Annual Wild Roots Fall Festival
Our 4th Annual Fall Festival will be filled with all sorts of fall fun — pumpkin painting, live music, games, food trucks, beer and wine tents, hayrack rides, and more! It’s a can’t miss event to celebrate autumn! Find out who is joining us and see pictures from our past Fall Festivals here.
Fall Planter Workshop
Create your own gorgeous autumn planter with us! Everything you need will be provided, including 12” pots that will hold one mum and up to three other plants. Plus, we’ll be serving up autumn-themed mocktails — one is included in your cost, but you can purchase more!
This event does not require any pre-registration, so you can come and go as you please. We recommend grabbing a group of friends and making it a fun night!

Yoga in the Greenhouse
Need an escape? Join us for some self-care with a gentle 45 minute “hot” yoga flow lead by Amber Paup of Focus on the Happy! Yogis of all levels are welcome, from beginner to expert . The greenhouse will be warm, so melt away some stress and let yourself relax (and don’t forget to bring some water and a towel!).
Smoothie bowls will be available after the yoga session (at no extra cost!). Bring your own yoga mat if you have one, but if not, no worries — Amber has some extras!

Kids Day 2024
Get ready for a blast at Kids Day! Children ages 7–12 are in for a treat as they dive into the world of buzzing pollinators and vibrant flowers at Wild Roots Greenhouse. Plus, they get to unleash their creativity by crafting their very own stunning planters to take home!

Hanging Basket Workshop
Come hang out with us at our first ever Hanging Basket Workshop! Whether you are a flower pro or newbie, this will be a great workshop to learn how to create a gorgeous basket that will add color and life to your front porch. We will have all the materials you’ll need available, so all you need to bring is a willingness to get your hands dirty!

Mother's Day Wine & Planting
Moms, you deserve a night out! Grab a group of friends and join us on Thursday, May 9th. Come anytime between 4–7 pm (no signup necessary!) for planting, wine, and giveaways to celebrate Mother's Day.
Wine from Prairie Creek Vineyards will be available to purchase by the glass. We'll supply the pots for planting and have help available, so no green thumb is required to have a great time!
Plant Bar
Join us for our first ever plant bar on Friday, April 26th! Come any time between 6–7:30 pm to enjoy a signature plant mocktail while you get your hands dirty planting. You will be able to choose your own pot and plant, and we’ll be available to guide you through the process. Cost will vary from $25–50, depending on the pot and plant chosen.

Gardening Informational Class with Elizabeth Exstrom
Elizabeth Exstrom, UNL Extension Educator, will be at Wild Roots Greenhouse to teach an informational class to anyone interested in learning more about vegetable gardening. This is a great opportunity for beginners and gardening enthusiasts alike to learn more before it’s time to start planting!

DIY Valentine's Day Succulent Planter
Want to create a one-of-a-kind Valentine’s gift for someone special? Join us for this fun DIY class where you can plant a succulent in a pot that you’ve painted with your own unique touch!
